FTC enforcement action warns against false claims involving artificial intelligence

The Federal Trade Commission is highlighting marketing strategies centered on artificial intelligence in a proposed settlement requiring Evolv Technologies -- sellers of security screening product Evolv Express -- to notify customers of their right to get out of multiyear contracts, given the company’s misleading claims.
