Foundation for Defense of Democracies proposes security measures for AI export program

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a think tank with strong credentials in the cybersecurity domain, is urging the Commerce Department to ensure President Trump’s “American AI Export Plan” is backed by a stringent regime to ensure key artificial intelligence technologies are kept away from the People’s Republic of China and that sales to allies are designed to bolster U.S. national security.
