By Charlie Mitchell / June 11, 2024

The Federal Communications Commission’s re-chartered security advisory panel will hold its first meeting June 28 as the FCC launches the ninth iteration of the Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council with a focus on artificial intelligence under a two-year charter.

“The recently reestablished CSRIC will focus on how artificial intelligence and machine learning can enhance the security, reliability, and integrity of communications networks in a nondiscriminatory, transparent, and socially responsible manner,” the FCC said in a June 10 release.
