FCC defends authority on labeling AI content in elections, as GOP targets proposal

The Federal Communications Commission has issued a “fact sheet” offering a full-throated defense of its proposed rule for labeling content generated by artificial intelligence in political advertising, as Senate Republicans mount an effort to block the rules.
