EPA science office touts AI for emergency preparedness amid staff cuts

The Environmental Protection Agency’s science and research office is promoting its use of artificial intelligence for emergency preparedness, saying the technology quickly processes data and reduces response times, as the Trump administration’s recently unveiled agency reorganization cuts office staff.
