DOJ’s RealPage lawsuit details algorithm’s ‘anticompetitive’ data inputs

A complaint the Department of Justice filed against the rental management software company RealPage for alleged antitrust violations -- following an investigation that has prompted lawmaker calls for greater algorithmic transparency -- provides insight into how the Biden administration is assessing legality in applications of artificial intelligence.
