DOE budget hearing highlights AI research amid Trump funding cuts

Energy Secretary Chris Wright emphasized his department’s role in developing artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies at a House Appropriations panel hearing where lawmakers on both sides of the aisle voiced concerns about President Trump’s federal funding cuts.
