Debate over AI’s role in political ads extends beyond current FCC rulemaking

As another comment deadline approaches in the Federal Communications Commission’s rulemaking on disclosure of artificial intelligence uses in political advertising, the submissions so far show the contours of a national debate over AI that goes well beyond the current election cycle as policymakers try to sort out roles and obligations related to AI.
