Dean Ball, FAI fellow and former White House aide, highlights AI ‘safety’ in Trump action plan

A former White House advisor pointed to elements in the Trump administration’s artificial intelligence action plan that address the concerns of a group of “safety” advocates described by the president’s AI czar David Sacks as an AI “doomer” cult.

“There are critics who say there's nothing about guardrails or safety in the action plan. I dispute that,” said Dean Ball, now senior fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation.
