Data specialists argue benefits of synthetic inputs for AI to protect privacy

Specialists on the handling of data say synthetically generated information for the training and use of artificial intelligence technologies will aid in protecting privacy, in comments submitted to federal data officers that could guide the government’s purchase of AI models.
