Copyright Office’s artificial intelligence inquiry to yield report in fiscal 2024

The U.S. Copyright Office plans to report this year on in its inquiry into artificial intelligence issues while continuing to examine copyright-related issues raised by the quickly evolving technology.

“As part of its AI initiative, the U.S Copyright Office plans to issue a report on copyright and AI in several sections over the course of this fiscal year,” the office said in a Jan. 25 statement to Inside AI Policy.
