Connecticut AI bill sparks divide between governor’s office, Democratic lawmakers

Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont’s (D) chief innovation officer has urged state Senate Democrats to hold off on pushing through landmark legislation for regulating artificial intelligence, to allow the federal government time to establish national standards.
