Civil liberties group critiques ‘vague’ content-regulation provisions in EU’s AI Act

The European Union’s latest effort to protect freedom of expression fails to meet standards previously set by laws like the bloc’s Digital Services Act and creates an unclear regulatory landscape for AI-generated content as elections approach, according to the Center for Democracy and Technology.
