CDT backs Durbin-Graham measure on AI-generated nonconsensual imagery

The Center for Democracy and Technology is throwing its support behind the bipartisan DEFIANCE Act crafted by Senate Judiciary Chairman Richard Durbin (D-IL) and ranking member Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to combat nonconsensual intimate imagery, saying the bill “enhances the existing federal cause of action against creators and distributors of AI-generated NCII.”
