Carnegie survey identifies Californians’ ambiguity about AI

A survey by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace finds that Californians -- living at the heart of the artificial intelligence boom and accompanying regulatory responses -- are deeply concerned about AI and privacy and “generally skeptical about government use of AI,” and support government-mandated testing of advanced AI systems.
