Bipartisan coalition of state legislators oppose AI ‘freeze’ in reconciliation package

A coalition of state legislators from across the country is urging Congress to scrap a provision in the massive House-passed reconciliation legislation that would impose a 10-year moratorium on implementation of state artificial intelligence laws and regulations, as the measure moves toward consideration in the Senate.
