Bill to encourage foreign advanced-tech investment in U.S. clears Senate Commerce

The Senate Commerce Committee has approved by voice vote S. 2563, the Global Investment in American Jobs Act, a bipartisan measure directing the Commerce Department and Comptroller General to study and report to Congress on U.S. competitiveness in attracting foreign investment for advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence.
