Biden deal with Intel to boost chip production stresses U.S. leadership on AI

The Biden administration has announced a major agreement with computer company Intel to provide nearly $20 billion in funds and loans to build out semiconductor and chip production capacities, with the goal of boosting U.S. leadership on the development of artificial intelligence technologies.
